Issued Romanian M1973 Steel Helmet

Romanian M1973s are some of the weirder-shaped steel pots we've ever come across. But hey, they seem to have done their job pretty well in Romania.

This design style dates back to before WWII when its predecessor, the M1939, was issued to the Romanian military.
